Ottawa’s inaugural UPROAR multidisciplinary arts festival takes place Aug. 8 to 10 and showcases work by cis/trans women and non-binary artists. The event will feature 12 Ottawa-area artists working in spoken-word poetry, textile art, paintings, burlesque, improv, dance and comedy and take place at Arts Court Theatre (2 Daly Ave.).
